Happy New Year and thanks for taking the time to check out my page. Here you'll find my schedule, recordings, videos, and writings about my compositions, theory, practice, and transcriptions.

The big news right now is that I'm finishing my first album as a leader -- Glassbath. This album has been a project in my head since around 2004. I remember struggling at the time to find a balance between the indie rock scene that I was working in and the jazz world in which I had become immersed. Around this time, an older drummer in my hometown of Dallas showed me Jim Black's AlasNoAxis. This helped me realize that the two worlds were not mutually exclusive.

The album is going off to be pressed this weekend and the official CD Release + show will be on 2/20/18 at 7pm, Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2. There is a $10 cover and physical albums will be for sale.
